At Mother Lode Veterinary Hospital, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets.

Our in-house laboratory provides us with the ability to perform complete blood counts, chemistry panels, urinalysis, clotting profiles, thyroid levels quickly – and that can be the difference between life and death for our critically ill patients.  Our laboratory also has the ability to do fecal analysis, cytology, heartworm, Giardia, Parvo, and tick borne disease testing when necessary. We contract with Idexx Laboratories for less time-critical lab work and specialty testing.
